Interwoven is a non-linear, GM-less, tabletop role-playing game that explores the memories of someone that is both completely foreign yet intimately familiar to you. You play one of the Frayed; a soul that has had their connection to their physical body severed. It’s your job to repair this connection—your Silver Cord—and discover yourself again by reliving the memories lost to you. Playable in solo, duo, and group modes, Interwoven can be used as a Session 0 tool before a longer campaign, as a one-shot, a journalling game, or whatever else you'd like.

Interwoven departs from traditional TTRPG systems and mechanics; there are no ability scores or checks, there is no combat to engage in, and there are no moves to restrict your character to. Interwoven is heavily based on improvisational role-play (or journalling, if playing the game by oneself), inspired by card prompts that the player can choose between. Rather than being limited to what a die says a player can or can’t do, each player always has the option and agency to change their own fate, no matter the card they are dealt. It is also undeniably queer. Inspired by tarot and oracle divination, alternative spiritualities, and the allegorical richness of weaving, sewing, and other textile art, Interwoven is a game and a system that will make players rethink the (non-)linearity of memory-making and the self.  Additionally, by playing without a GM, there are no hierarchies or power imbalances at the table, creating a more balanced, collaborative, and ultimately queer approach to play.
